Professional Experience

California native, 5th generation Japanese American, with a unique command of the Japanese language, I found success in supporting clients like WeWork, OYO, Netflix, iProspect, Carat Japan, and more, in their recruitment needs in Tokyo. I meet new people daily (now via Zoom) and introduce the next generation of ambitious leaders to organizations and companies willing to invest in the future change-makers of the world. Collaborating with innovators who are driving change via D&IB initiatives, intercultural communications, and community-based events has evolved into a unique synergy that is currently propelling me through a new path in entrepreneurship.

Currently, as a freelance web designer & content editor, I blend storytelling with tech, to amplify services offered by independent consultants, and help people convey their unique personal brands. At the helm of JACL Japan, a US-based NPO with a branch in Tokyo, I foster growing communities that are inclusive of Japanese returnees, TCKs, Nikkei diaspora, multiethnic youth, and more, by designing unique identity & career-related events.
